I command you to
love each other in the same way that I love you. John 15:12
Called
to Care is a group of commissioned caregivers who call on shut-ins or visit
the sick and lonely. Some caregivers have had special training to meet
specific needs of families with hospitalized children or who are dealing
with AIDS. Called to Care works in conjunction with the Pastor,
praying and caring for others.
Need
a visit or help from Called to Care? Interested in becoming a
caregiver? E-mail the church office: armstrongellen@sbcglobal.net .
Called
to Care is in need of some care givers.
If you can participate in this program, please contact Rev.
Pamela. Volunteers go through some
training provided right here in church.
The help is invaluable to those who need it.
Please
let us know when someone needs called on, or in the hospital nad might need some special help. Sometimes word does not travel at top
speed to get where it needs to in good time so it can be acted on and we
can be about our Father’s business of caring. If you can’t reach one of us at home,
call the church at 330-297-1461 or Rev. Pamela at 330-297-6551.
If
you have someone put on our prayer list, please call the office at least
once a month with an update on their problem/condition and whether they
need to remain on the prayer list.
